The Vilnius Scientific Seminar (WSN) is an initiative of the Branch of Bialystok University, Faculty of Economics-Informatics. It is devoted to legal issues in connection with other fields such as IT, economics, international affairs and sociology.
This year's edition of the seminar - WSN'20 - combines IT and law issues. Its organizers are the Branch of Bialystok University, Faculty of Economics-Informatics and the Bialystok Branch of the Polish Information Processing Society. The seminar consists of two one-day sessions:
March 27, 2020 IT – Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
March 28, 2020 Law and Artificial Intelligence
The participants of the WSN seminar will be recognised researchers and specialists in the field of law and computer science, as well as students and Ph.D. students, as well as, people interested in the history of computer science in Poland and in the issues of the relationship between law and computer science, in particular artificial intelligence and law.
The seminar will be accompanied by a special lecture and exhibition on the Enigma Cipher Machine.
The seminar will take place on 27 and 28 March 2020, at the House of Polish Culture in Vilnius, Naugarduko 76.
